Responsibilities Manage appointment schedules efficiently to ensure clients are seen promptly while allowing adequate time for each treatment to be performed properly. Stay current with the latest beauty and wellness trends, techniques, and products through continuous professional development and industry research. Maintain accurate client records including treatment notes, product usage, and any relevant observations to ensure continuity of excellent care. Provide detailed aftercare advice to clients following treatments including product recommendations and guidance on maintaining results between appointments. Promote retail products to clients where appropriate by explaining the benefits of professional-grade skincare and wellness items for home use. Perform a comprehensive range of beauty treatments including facials, manicures, pedicures, and waxing services to the highest professional standards. Manage product inventory by monitoring stock levels and ensuring all supplies are ordered and available when needed for scheduled treatments. Conduct thorough client consultations before each treatment to understand individual needs and identify any contraindications that may affect the service. Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the treatment environment by following strict sanitation and sterilisation protocols. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through attentive service and genuine care that encourages repeat bookings and positive referrals.

Requirements A calm and reassuring manner when dealing with clients who may be nervous about particular treatments or who have specific skin concerns. Attention to detail when performing treatments to ensure consistent high-quality results and client satisfaction with every single service delivered. Business awareness including the ability to contribute to retail sales targets and promote additional services that enhance the client experience. Ability to manage time effectively during treatments to stay on schedule while never rushing or compromising the quality of the client experience. Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards that reflect the professional image of a premium beauty and wellness service provider. Thorough understanding of skin anatomy and physiology to assess skin conditions accurately and select appropriate treatments and products for each client. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to put clients at ease and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Comprehensive practical skills in delivering a wide range of beauty treatments including advanced facial therapies, body treatments, and nail services. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations as they apply to beauty treatment environments including infection control and chemical handling. Knowledge of product ingredients and their effects on different skin types to make informed recommendations for both treatment and home care products.

Qualifications - NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification demonstrating competence across a comprehensive range of beauty treatments.

- VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies or equivalent qualification covering anatomy, physiology, and a full range of practical treatments.

- Recognised qualification in Holistic Therapy or Wellness with additional beauty treatment certifications demonstrating a broad skill set.

- CIDESCO or CIBTAC international diploma in Beauty Therapy with advanced training in facial and body treatments to internationally recognised standards.

- ITEC Diploma in Beauty Specialist Treatments with additional certifications in advanced techniques such as microdermabrasion or chemical peels.
