Private Security Guard

Job Brief We are seeking a proactive, experienced, and passionate Security Guard to join our dedicated team. The primary goal of this role is to ensure a safe and secure environment by undertaking vigilant surveillance of our premises and providing protection for our staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing key security functions, including: Patrol & Inspection: Regularly inspect and patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and exits. Access Control: Authorize the entry and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to established protocols. Surveillance Operations: Conduct CCTV surveillance when assigned to monitor activity and identify potential risks. Incident Response: Respond immediately and appropriately to all alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations in a timely manner. Reporting: Promptly report any suspicious behavior or happenings through walkie-talkie communication or direct contact, and maintain accurate daily activity reports of all surveillance and incidents. Emergency Preparedness: Secure all exits, doors, and windows at designated times to maintain a secure perimeter. Requirements & Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Security Guard or in a similar protective role. Education: Completion of SSCE or a Diploma is required. Skills: Demonstrated ability in outstanding surveillance and observation, coupled with strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge: A strong understanding of general guidelines for area security and public safety procedures. Technology: Basic computer literacy is essential for reporting and monitoring duties. Personal Attributes: Must be neat, professional, and of good appearance. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be a reliable team player. Age: 25 to 40
