You will conduct patrols, monitor premises, respond to alarms and incidents, and submit detailed reports. PSIRA registration and a clean criminal record are mandatory for all security positions.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate a team of security officers, managing shift rosters and ensuring all posts are adequately staffed.Respond promptly to alarm activations, investigate the cause, and take appropriate action including escalation to armed response or law enforcement.Provide excellent customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors while maintaining a firm and professional security presence.Conduct searches of personnel, vehicles, and bags entering or leaving the premises to prevent unauthorised removal of property.Conduct regular patrols of the assigned premises on foot or by vehicle, checking for security breaches, hazards, and suspicious activity.Write detailed and accurate incident reports describing security events, observations, and actions taken for management review.RequirementsFor armed response roles, a valid firearm competency certificate and experience in handling firearms safely.Good written and verbal communication skills to write reports and interact professionally with clients and the public.The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure in emergency or high-stress situations.Grade 12 certificate is preferred; Grade 10 may be acceptable for certain entry-level positions.A valid PSIRA registration at the appropriate grade level for the position being applied for.A valid driver's licence is required for armed response and patrol positions.QualificationsNational Certificate in Security Management
