Heavy Equipment Shop Lead

As Lead Hand Technician, you will guide our operations at the Burlington Earth Moving and Material Handling Workshop. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, you will mentor a strong team, oversee complex repairs, and maintain high standards of safety and quality in all operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing workflow efficiency and ensuring optimal performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities: • Implement a proactive safety-first approach in daily operations • Mentor technicians through hands-on training and feedback • Supervise diagnostics and repairs for quality assurance • Monitor shop performance metrics and report to leadership • Coordinate and prioritize tasks for timely project completion

Requirements: • At least 10 years in Heavy Equipment Technician roles • Experience with Liebherr machinery is a strong plus • Proven leadership in a workshop environment • 421A / Red Seal Heavy Equipment License needed • Expertise in diagnostic techniques and schematics
