Operating in Morocco, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Chile, and Nigeria, GoCab enables gig economy workers to acquire brand-new vehicles through structured daily payments, achieving full ownership within approximately three years. Morocco is one of GoCab's strategic MENA markets, with offices open in Casablanca and rapid growth underway. Role Overview As Director of Operations – Morocco, you will lead and own the full operational execution of GoCab's Morocco market. You will be responsible for scaling our fleet, driver onboarding, in-country partnerships, maintenance operations, and local team performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who thrives in high-growth, early-stage environments. Key Responsibilities Fleet & Vehicle Operations Oversee the procurement, deployment, and tracking of GoCab's vehicle fleet in Morocco in coordination with global supply chain teams Manage in-house vehicle maintenance operations, ensuring service quality and minimizing driver downtime Liaise with local vehicle suppliers, regulators, and logistics partners Driver & Partner Management Lead driver onboarding processes, quality control, and retention programs Build and maintain partnerships with ride-hailing platforms (e.g., Yango, inDrive) operating in Morocco Design incentive structures adapted to the local Moroccan market and driver behavior Operational Scaling Build and manage a high-performing local team (operations, maintenance, customer support) Establish SOPs, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to support GoCab's target of rapid fleet growth Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks proactively Regulatory & Compliance Work with legal and compliance teams to navigate Moroccan regulatory requirements for vehicle financing and mobility services Support GoCab's path toward obtaining relevant local financial licenses Financial & Reporting Own the Morocco P&L with a focus on unit economics, default management, and cost efficiency Report performance metrics to regional and global leadership regularly Required Profile 2-3 years of experience in operations, ideally in mobility, logistics, fintech Prior experience managing multi-function teams in Morocco or the MENA region Strong understanding of the Moroccan transport and mobility ecosystem Demonstrated ability to build operations from the ground up in a startup or scale-up context Fluency in French and Arabic (English is a strong plus) Data-driven mindset with experience using operational dashboards and KPIs Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Nice to Have Experience with ride-hailing platforms or gig-economy ecosystems Knowledge of vehicle financing, leasing, or asset management Familiarity with Shariah-compliant financial structures What GoCab Offers A high-impact senior role in one of Africa's fastest-growing mobility fintechs Direct exposure to global leadership and board-level investors (E3 Capital, Janngo Capital) Competitive compensation package Opportunity to shape GoCab's expansion across the MENA region A mission-driven, inclusive work culture
