As a Loading and Unloading Associate, you will be responsible for accurately tracking inventory and preparing shipments, directly contributing to Frito-Lay’s mission of efficiently supplying high-quality snacks to consumers.
Role and Responsibilities:
This position focuses on efficiently managing, organizing, and storing inventory to ensure products are correctly recorded and ready for distribution. You will collaborate with logistics colleagues to maintain seamless warehouse operations and achieve daily production goals. Success in this role requires focus, teamwork, and active engagement in physical tasks to sustain a productive warehouse environment.
Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming shipments to maintain correct inventory recordsPick, pack, and stage items for shipment following company guidelinesOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficientlyKeep workspaces clean, organized, and compliant with safety standardsVerify inventory quantities and update records using warehouse management systemsCollaborate with team members to prioritize assignments and meet production deadlinesReport equipment malfunctions, damaged products, or inventory discrepancies promptly to supervisorsRequired Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent educational qualificationMinimum of one year of warehouse or material handling experience preferredCompetency in safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machineryBasic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management softwareStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliabilityAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, or reaching for extended periodsCommitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following standard operating proceduresPreferred Qualifications:
Forklift certification or prior experience operating heavy warehouse machineryExperience in a fast-paced production or distribution settingKnowledge of inventory management software and scanning toolsCompensation and Benefits:
