Catering Assistant ManagerJob Summary We are looking for an experienced and energetic Catering Assistant Manager to support end-to-end catering operations for weddings, corporate events, social gatherings, and premium functions. The candidate should have strong knowledge of food service operations, event execution, client coordination, banquet management, and team supervision. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing catering events from booking to final service delivery Coordinate with clients regarding menus, event requirements, guest counts, and special requests Support the Catering Manager in managing weddings, corporate events, VIP functions, and private parties Supervise banquet staff, service teams, kitchen teams, and temporary event manpower Ensure smooth event setup, buffet arrangements, live counters, table layouts, and service standards Monitor food quality, presentation, hygiene, and guest satisfaction during events Coordinate with chefs, decorators, vendors, transport teams, and venue partners Handle procurement support, stock management, inventory tracking, and event materials Manage event timelines, manpower allocation, and service flow during functions Resolve guest complaints, last-minute changes, and operational issues efficiently Support billing, quotations, vendor payments, and event cost control Ensure compliance with food safety standards, cleanliness, and company SOPs Train junior staff on service standards, grooming, and customer handling Requirements Minimum 3–5 years of experience in catering, banquet, hospitality, or event operations Experience in wedding catering and large-scale event management preferred Strong communication, client handling, and team management skills Good knowledge of food service, buffet setup, banquet operations, and hospitality standards Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic reporting Preferred Candidate Profile Background in hotel management, hospitality, catering, or event management Experience in luxury weddings, destination events, or premium catering brands preferred Strong leadership skills with attention to detail and operational excellence Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Work Location: In person

Requirements
