Compass Medical Waste Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst / Route Planner to join our team. This dual-role position combines analytical expertise with operational planning to support the distribution team.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analyst Duties

Collect, analyse, and interpret data to support business decision-makingTransform raw data into meaningful insights that drive performanceIdentify trends, patterns, and anomalies to improve operational efficiencyPrepare clear, concise, and actionable reports for management

Route Planner Duties

Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily transport routesEnsure cost-effective, timely, and efficient service deliveryOptimise routes using mapping and routing softwareAllocate vehicles and drivers based on operational needsMonitor route performance and implement improvementsCommunicate with drivers, supervisors, and customers to resolve issues

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration, route planning, or data analyst roleStrong computer literacyGood understanding of:Maps and geographic systemsTracking programmesRoute planning applicationsAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsFast learner with the ability to think outside the boxExcellent communication and organisational skills Key Competencies
