As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Owings Mills, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:30 PM - 10:00 PMHow This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts'): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with entry screening and badge-related procedures, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and/or policy violations. Support day-to-day operations by preparing clear incident reports, maintaining an alert presence, and following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed protocols.Minimum Requirements: Have 2 or more years of security-related experience. A current guard card or license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
