Security Officer - Full Time - $20.50/hr HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time Security Officers in the Princeton, NJ area. This position offers a pay rate of $19/hr - with weekly pay with benefits and PTO. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients. You will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, controlling access, and responding to incidents in a calm and professional manner. Key responsibilities: Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.Complete incident and shift reports accurately and in a timely manner.Control access to buildings and restricted areas.Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches.Respond to alarms and emergencies in accordance with established procedures.Provide excellent customer service while ensuring rules and regulations are followed. Requirements: Valid NJ SORA security guard license.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional security or leadership training a plus.1+ years of experience in security.Strong observation and communication skills.Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.Basic computer skills and ability to write clear reports.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.Must have a valid driver's license.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors/outdoors as needed.Schedule: Fridays from 0000 to 0800 Saturdays & Sundays from 0000 to 1200Monday from 0000 to 0800A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders/SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
