Multimedia Designer

A creative agency in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal is looking for a talented Multimedia Designer to work on a diverse portfolio of client projects. The role involves conceptualising and producing high-quality visual content for digital and print, collaborating with copywriters and strategists, and presenting design concepts to clients. Responsibilities Use industry-standard design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce high-resolution artwork and prepare files for publication. Conceptualise and create compelling visual designs for print advertisements, digital banners, social media content, and brand identities. Select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials for interior projects, sourcing from suppliers and managing procurement budgets. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, develop creative briefs, and present design concepts for review. Edit and retouch photographs and digital images to enhance visual quality and meet required specifications for the output medium. Develop and maintain consistent brand visual identities across all platforms, ensuring typography and colour palettes adhere to brand guidelines. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines without compromising creative quality.

Requirements A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing polished, pixel-perfect work that exceeds client expectations. For interior design roles, knowledge of building regulations, space planning standards, and experience specifying materials and finishes. A diploma or degree in graphic design, visual communication, interior design, multimedia, or a related creative field. Strong understanding of design principles including colour theory, typography, layout, and composition and ability to apply them effectively. Good communication and presentation skills to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and familiarity with tools such as Sketch or Figma. For CAD roles, demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar software with a portfolio of technical drawings.
