Job Title: Change Management Specialist Job Type: 6-month Contract Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba (Hybrid work arrangement) Start Date: September 2026 End Date: March 31, 2027 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, 40 hours per week Rate: $60/hr T4 OR $75/hr Inc. Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to lead and support change initiatives for a large-scale organizational project. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, communications, training, and user adoption throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities As the Change Management Specialist, you will: Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans.Apply structured change management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.Assess organizational impacts and readiness for change.Conduct change impact assessments and readiness evaluations.Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and build strong relationships across all organizational levels.Create and execute communication plans and targeted communications for various stakeholder groups.Develop training strategies and support the design, documentation, and delivery of training materials and programs.Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with organizational change.Proactively manage resistance and implement resistance management strategies.Coach project teams, sponsors, people leaders, and managers on effective change management practices.Develop key change management deliverables, including:Sponsor PlansPeople Manager PlansCommunication PlansTraining PlansResistance Management PlansSupport organizational design activities and role definition where required.Coordinate change management activities with project managers and other project specialists.Integrate change activities into overall project plans.Monitor organizational readiness, user adoption, and project success metrics.Track issues, measure change adoption, and report on progress throughout the engagement.Perform additional project-related duties as required.Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess: Prosci (ADKAR) and/or CCMP Certification (Required).Minimum 10 years of experience applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools.Minimum 8 years of recent experience supporting projects within formal project management environments.Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale organizational change initiatives.Strong understanding of organizational change, user adoption, and stakeholder engagement.Experience developing: Communication strategies, Training materials, Presentations and Organizational readiness assessmentsExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.Strong active listening and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to influence leaders, managers, and project teams.Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.Experience managing change risks and organizational resistance.Strong business acumen and understanding of project lifecycles and delivery methodologies.Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates who have: Supported enterprise-wide organizational transformation initiatives.Worked alongside project management teams on complex business or technology projects.Experience measuring organizational readiness and change adoption using established metrics.Additional Requirements Candidates must: Be comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular attendance at the Winnipeg office as required.Have access to a Windows-based computer with standard Microsoft applications.Possess their own communication device.Have licensed Microsoft Visio software available for use.IND2 Pay: $70.00-$75.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: Winnipeg, MB R3H 0B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience: Change management: 10 years (preferred)Project support: 8 years (preferred)large-scale organizational change : 8 years (preferred)enterprise-wide organizational transformation : 10 years (preferred)Licence/Certification: Prosci certification (preferred)Change Management Professional Certification (preferred)Work Location: In person
