Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team in Paarl, Western Cape, ZA . This role is fundamental to ensuring that all manufactured products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and compliance. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products using a variety of testing and measurement tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of quality control principles, manufacturing processes, and relevant industry standards. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding quality are paramount.

Your duties will include developing and implementing inspection procedures, documenting findings, identifying non-conforming products, and collaborating with production teams to address quality issues. Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 is highly desirable. You should be proficient in using precision measuring instruments and have the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. We are looking for an individual with excellent observational skills, a systematic approach to inspection, and the ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively. This is a hands-on role that requires integrity and a dedication to maintaining product excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive inspections of incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods. Conduct in-process quality checks at various stages of the manufacturing process. Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product specifications. Identify, document, and report any deviations from quality standards or product defects. Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions for quality issues. Ensure compliance with established quality control procedures and company policies. Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality reports. Participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes. Verify that all manufactured products meet regulatory requirements and customer specifications. Assist in conducting root cause analysis for quality failures. Contribute to a culture of quality throughout the organization. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role in manufacturing. Proficiency in using measuring and testing equipment. Understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good observational and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and documentation skills. Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is beneficial.
