We are recruiting a HR Officer for a medium-sized company in Polokwane, Limpopo for comprehensive HR administrative support. Responsibilities include maintaining employee files, processing leave, handling HR correspondence, assisting with payroll, and responding to employee queries. Responsibilities Administer employee benefits including medical aid, pension funds, group life assurance, and wellness programmes. Prepare and submit statutory reports including Employment Equity Reports, Skills Development Levy claims, and Workplace Skills Plans. Maintain and update the HR information system and employee files, ensuring records are accurate and compliant with data protection. Coordinate training and development activities including identifying needs, sourcing providers, and evaluating effectiveness. Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary hearings, grievances, incapacity processes, and performance improvement. Support organisational change initiatives including restructuring, succession planning, and culture transformation programmes. Coordinate onboarding and induction of new employees, ensuring documentation is complete and integration is smooth.

Requirements For recruitment roles, proven ability to source candidates using various methods and experience with applicant tracking systems. A diploma or degree in human resource management, industrial psychology, or a related field from a recognised institution. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative HR team. A minimum of two to five years of progressive experience in a generalist or specialist HR role within an organisation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

Qualifications Certificate in Payroll Administration or Sage VIP Certification
