Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Development Coordinator to manage and enhance their childcare programs. You will be responsible for developing age-appropriate curriculum, overseeing daily activities, managing staff schedules, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards for early childhood education. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment. Supervise and train childcare staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities. Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage at all times. Build positive and collaborative relationships with parents, communicating regularly about their child's progress. Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing regulations and health and safety standards. Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, including educational games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents. Manage inventory of educational materials and supplies. Act as a primary point of contact for parent inquiries and concerns. Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with young children in a childcare setting. Previous experience in a supervisory or coordination role is a strong advantage. In-depth knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to create engaging and educational learning experiences. Certification in First Aid and CPR is required. Must be able to pass background checks. Passion for child development and a nurturing approach to childcare. This is an on-site position located in **Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA**. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for young children.
