Job Title: Category Sales Manager – Commodities (Edible Oil) Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Head of Sales / Commercial Director Role Overview The Category Sales Manager – Commodities will oversee high-volume sales performance, pricing strategy, and distribution efficiency across assigned commodity product lines. This role requires strong commercial acumen, bulk trading expertise, and deep understanding of price-sensitive FMCG markets. Key Responsibilities Category & Sales Strategy · Develop and implement sales strategies focused on volume growth and market penetration. · Monitor pricing trends, supply-demand dynamics, and competitor positioning. · Drive revenue optimization while managing margins in volatile markets. Channel & Key Account Management · Manage wholesale, bulk distributors, institutional buyers, and general trade channels. · Negotiate pricing structures, bulk trade agreements, and supply contracts. · Strengthen route-to-market strategy for efficient stock movement. Execution & Market Development · Ensure consistent product availability and strong inventory turnover. · Monitor sell-in performance and manage supply chain coordination. · Track KPIs, revenue performance, and margin sustainability. Qualifications & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. · 5–8 years’ experience in edible oil/FMCG commodities or bulk trading environments. · Strong knowledge of wholesale distribution and price-driven markets. Excellent commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₦500,000.00 - ₦800,000.00 per month Application Question(s) Do you have at least 6 years of progressive sales experience within FMCG, cosmetics, or commodity-based businesses.?
