The Float Rotor Wing Pilot is responsible for professionally and safely operating aircraft for LFN to facilitate care of critically ill and/or injured patients. Rotor Wing Pilots possess strong aviation skills, a keen sense of safety, superior customer service skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people, one-on-one and in large groups, sometimes in highly stressful situations. The Float Rotor Wing Pilot will be required to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Our float positions are full-time. The purpose of our float pilot is to cover open shifts on the schedule due to line pilot vacations, leave, etc. Seven shifts are guaranteed in the pay period, but may not be consecutive or all at the same base. This position covers shifts at our bases located in Dallesport, Hermiston, Redmond, Richland, and Walla Walla. High School diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor's Degree preferred5 years' experience as a professional pilot preferred1500 hours Pilot in Command100 hours of unaided nighttime requiredPilots with air medical transportation experience preferredPilots with NVG experience preferredMust hold FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter RatingPerforms pre- and post-flight inspections. Plans flights, assists in loading of passengers, baggage and cargo, and analyzes weather conditionsOperates aircraft tug, tractor, and/or ground handling equipmentProficient in Microsoft Office Suiteverbal and written communication, and customer service skillsTravel by personal or company vehicle throughout LFN's service area is requiredMust hold a valid driver's license, have access to an automobile in good repair, be able to provide proof of auto insurance, meet LFN's Driver's Policy requirements and able to travel whenever or wherever business needs necessitate At Life Flight Network, we believe our team members deserve more than just a job they deserve a rewarding, supported, and balanced life.
