Inventory Management: Oversee computerized inventory control, including ordering from primary/secondary wholesalers and processing legend orders and Central Fill deliveries. Financial Processing: Execute billing and adjudication procedures; manage Point of Sale (POS) transactions including cash, credit, EBT, and vendor coupons. Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, food safety, and sanitation guidelines. Report any safety risks or illegal activities to management. Pharmacist Support: Assist the Pharmacist in all operational duties that do not require professional judgment, ensuring a high-paced and efficient workflow. Confidentiality: Handle highly sensitive and confidential patient and business information with absolute integrity. Qualifications & Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED. Age: Must be at least 18 years of age. Certification: Must hold a valid Pharmacy Board License as required by state law. Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential medical information (HIPAA). Skills: Basic math proficiency, effective communication, and the ability to manage high-paced, sometimes stressful environments. Preferred Experience Successful candidates will have a background in a Pharmacy Clerk position or a related healthcare role.
