Backpack Product Designer for Prototype and Manufacturing

I’m developing a premium, ultra-durable baseball backpack designed specifically for serious players (12–18yo). This is not a generic sports bag—I’m building a thoughtfully designed, long-lasting product using high-quality materials like 1000D Cordura and a molded TPU base. I’m looking for an experienced soft goods / backpack designer to help bring this product to life—from concept refinement through prototype and ideally into manufacturing readiness. What I Need Help With: · Refine overall bag architecture and layout · Translate concept into production-ready design (tech pack) · Material selection guidance (Cordura, lining, hardware, etc.) · Pattern development and construction details · Prototype development (either directly or via factory coordination) · Feedback on manufacturability and cost optimization · (Bonus) Support with factory sourcing and handoff Current Direction (for context): · 1000D Cordura nylon shell · Molded TPU base for durability and structure · Structured “bucket-style” main compartment (no internal dividers) · U-shaped opening for access without collapse · Simplified front pocket organization system · External gear carry solution (cleats/glove) · Clean, minimal, non-tactical aesthetic I have a clear vision and product spec document, but need an expert to help refine and help bring this product to life. Mainly looking for hourly consulting but might be down to scope this out as a project as well.
