Surveillance Officer

A vacancy exists in the Operations Department for an Operations Surveillance Officer in both our East London Offices. Reporting to the Operations Manager - Offsite Monitoring. The CCTV Operator will be responsible, but not limited to, monitoring the cameras and compiling reports on what was observed. To oversee the protection of restaurant sites through monitoring and regulating the company's procedure. In summary the ideal candidate should have a clear criminal record; control room environment experience; be organized with good time management skills; have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; be a team-player; be responsible and reliable, have highly methodical working methods; monitor CCTV cameras and initiate the appropriate response to suspicious activities; perform administration duties relating to a control room environment and ensure that all control room registers are completed accurately and neatly. The ability to read reports and identify areas of concern that require investigation, a thorough knowledge of KFC Operational processes and a KFC ARM Certification is compulsory. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Not limited to the below) §Monitoring/tracking of restaurant procedures / activities and ad hoc requests regarding company investigations§Daily reporting of occurrences.§Reporting of irregular activities.§Communicating with managers§Investigating reports / incidents / tip offs§Response on system / email / report.§Reporting of issues to the relevant department§The monitoring of cameras and reporting on what is recorded. §Prior supervisory experience in the QSR Industry - KFC§English Proficiency§Numeracy Proficiency§Grade B PSIRA Certificate is an advantage, but not a requirement.§Relevant work experience.§Knowledge of Company Rules & Regulations.§Computer Literacy – MS Office, specifically excel§Ability to read reports and identify areas of concern that require investigation§DC Leading a Restaurant (LAR) Certified§Minimum of 12 months in an ARM Role.§ARM Certified + Individual Development Plan (IDP) in place§A clear criminal record, control room environment experience§Grade 12 NQF Level 4 and preferably a suitably related tertiary qualification§A passion for product quality and the customer service experience, pride in the KFC Brand!
