About this role

The City of Fairfield's Income Tax Division is seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support and assistance. Schedule will be approximately 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be able to work about 5 hours each day, with flexibility on the start and end time within the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Prepare outgoing mail by folding and stuffing letters and related materials for mailing Process return mail, including researching and updating new addresses in the system Accurately enter incoming payments Log returns and documents as received in the system and scan Perform a variety of data entry and administrative support tasks as assigned Basic computer skillsComfortable using MS Word and Excel for data entryStrong organizational skills with attention to detailHigh School diploma or GED
