Do you have a minimum of 3 years experience in project management or corporate event planning?

An estate in the Cape Winelands requires an organised and detail-oriented individual to plan weddings and corporate events. You will work closely with clients, suppliers and the internal teams to ensure each event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities REQUIREMENTS

Matric (Grade 12) or similar

Relevant qualification in events management or similar, advantageous

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication in English, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Attention to detail and a creative mindset

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Willingness to work weekends, evenings and travel when required for events

Valid driver’s licence and own transport Previous experience in events DUTIES

Take ownership in planning weddings, corporate events and private functions

Work alongside the Events Coordinator and hand over detailed function sheet

Prepare quotes, event schedules and detailed function sheets

Communicate with décor suppliers, florists, caterers and other vendors

Assist with on-site coordination during setup, execution and breakdown of events

Track budgets and assist with cost control and invoicing preparation

Handle client queries professionally and timeously

Maintain accurate event files, checklists and timelines

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
