The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of staff, customers, and property within a high-profile retail environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Retail Security Officer

Provide a proactive, visible security presence to deter theft, anti-social behaviour, and health & safety incidents. Monitor and patrol retail premises, responding to incidents as required Provide the staff and management with a sense of safety in their workplace Report incidents clearly and accurately using company procedures Have a full understanding of Retail Security procedures Liaise effectively with store management Control your emotions and act professionally under pressure

Essential Requirements

Minimum 1 year experience as a Retail Security Officer in Ireland Valid 02.C Security guard (Guarding) PSA (Private Security Authority) Licence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to remain observant, alert, and proactive Full flexibility, including availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays Strong professional appearance and attitude Full understanding of Standard Operating Procedures

Desirable

Manual handling or first aid certification Experience dealing with conflict resolution Familiarity with retail reporting systems and bodycam operation
