Bag and Pouch Machine Adjuster

Salary: $20-$25 Shift: 1st Shift- 6am to 6pm 2nd Shift- 6pm – 6am Equipment: Totani Hudson-Sharp CMD W&H or similar bag-making machines Job Description • A leading flexible packaging manufacturer is seeking an experienced Bag & Pouch Machine Operator to join their production team. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating bag-making equipment used to convert plastic film into finished bags and pouches. Responsibilities • Set up, adjust, and operate bag and pouch converting machines • Monitor machine performance to ensure proper sealing, cutting, and product quality • Load film rolls and adjust machine settings based on production specifications • Perform routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards • Troubleshoot mechanical or production issues and make adjustments as needed • Maintain production efficiency while minimizing downtime and waste • Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized • Follow all safety procedures and production schedules Qualifications • Experience operating bag making, pouch making, or flexible packaging converting equipment • Mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Strong attention to detail and quality control • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle production materials • Preferred Experience • Experience with Totani, Hudson-Sharp, CMD, W&H, or similar bag-making machines • Background in flexible packaging or plastic film converting We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
