Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hotel Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Front Office Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel. Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional mannerOperate the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignmentsProcess payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate recordsSell tickets to shows and events, and provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and activitiesAssist guests with luggage, transportation, and other needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyableResolve minor conflicts and escalate more serious issues to supervisors for resolutionMaintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, local businesses, and attractionsCommunicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operationsOperate various office machines and equipment, including a cash drawer, to receive payments and provide change and receiptsPost charges and payments, and maintain accurate recordsResponsible for the accountability and safekeeping of a revolving change fund during assigned shiftsCash travelers and personal checks, and secure credit card authorizationsProvide communication assistance in medical and fire emergenciesEssential Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent requiredProgressively responsible work experience in the hospitality industry, demonstrating the ability to perform duties with minimal supervisionExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy when interacting with peopleAbility to communicate clearly, concisely, and grammatically correctlyPossess good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyAbility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and eveningsMust be able to obtain a Tier 1 background investigationPreferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and/or experience of the OPERA systemPrevious experience in a front desk or customer service roleAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelySkills and Competencies:
